The Warmest Fish and Coldest Fish
So far as the temperature of water that fish live in is concerned, Porthole livebearer can live in mountain springs with a temperature as high as 52℃; while the snakehead, after being frozen for weeks in ice of
－2℃－3℃, can still come to life after thawing. As for the habitat of fish, blindfish can live in underground rivers, which is as deep as 500-600 m from the ground surface and which has no sunlight all year round; while, Medaka can live in small ponds, in which the water is only dozens of centimeters in depth.
